The candidates seeking admission to the course should be graduates in Applied Art from recognized institutes of art with a keen interest in pursuing a professional career in illustrations, especially in the area of content for children. Talented candidates with a natural aptitude and interest in this field can also apply.
Be able to commit to one week sessions every month for a year. Be passionate about illustration, especially children’s illustration. Practice at home and be able to complete assignments in timely manner. Communicate with faculty outside a class setting. Have some knowledge of literature and how to analyze literature.
Includes accommodation and food during the contact sessions at Bhopal and any other institution selected.
Students will be required to maintain daily diaries, monthly sketch-books and regular feedback on their work and that of their colleagues.

Students can earn 60% of paid professional work they get through Riyaaz; Other 40% goes to Course Development Fund
Exposure to various national and international platforms such as the World Book Fair in Delhi, the Asian Festival of Children’s Content in Singapore, and Bookaroo Children’s Festival, Delhi
